PTA “No Sweat” Fundraising
The South Pasadena Middle School PTA is adopting a new approach to fundraising and we think you’ll agree, a “No Sweat” way is a simple and straightforward way for our students and families to contribute.
- No Baking
- No Badgering Family, Friends, Co-Workers or Neighbors to think about Christmas or Hanukkah wrapping in September!
- No event with a “Thon” attached to it
- No Fancy Balls, Gambling Nite or Hoedowns!
We are asking you to make a straight donation to the SPMS PTA and be done with it!
In return, the students and teachers will benefit from a number of PTA supported programs, activities and services, such as:
* Science Weather Station * Field Trips * Monetary Library donations *
* Technology for Special Needs Classrooms * Site Beautification *
*Teacher Appreciation Luncheons * Movie Night on the Quad*
Since this is our first year introducing this to the South Pasadena Middle School community, the SPMS PTA is asking every family to donate a $20.00, tax-deductible donation, and if you can give more, we will gladly accept it. Any other amount is also appreciated. Our hope is to reach the goal of $20,000 for this school year. Your support is greatly appreciated by the PTA, teachers, and all our students…Thank you!

This is our last Potluck of the year to thank our fantastic SPMS staff. NOTE THAT THERE ARE TWO EVENTS. SEE BELOW.
The next Staff Appreciation event is on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. We are requesting your generous potluck donations for a breakfast/brunch for the staff. The second event is Friday, May 5, 2017 for which we are requesting desserts, drinks, and sides to go with a fabulous catered lunch.
Thank you very much to those who volunteered their time and/or donated for our past staff lunches. We look forward to volunteering with you again (as well as any new volunteers) at the upcoming brunch AND/OR lunch. Please mark your calendars for TUESDAY, May 2 at 7:15 am (items can be dropped of the day before) AND FRIDAY, May 5, 2017 (drop off by 11:00 am) and help us provide a couple delicious meals to our hard working staff.

Food/drinks for the brunch can be dropped off in the SPMS office on Monday, May 1before the end of the day, or Tuesday morning, May 2 by 7:15 am. If you're bringing a dessert or salad for Friday, please drop off before 11 am on Friday, May 5.
If you are donating a monetary contribution, please put your donation in a sealed envelope with "SPMS PTA - Staff Appreciation Lunch" on it and drop off or send to the SPMS office. Please also let me know that you have turned in your contribution so we can look for it.
Please be sure to label any containers or utensils you would like returned.
