On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, South Pasadena Unified School District welcomed 22 new educators during an orientation session held in the boardroom at the new District office.
After a warm greeting from Superintendent Geoff Yantz, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Linda Junge and school principals, the meeting included time to introduce the teachers to each other and the nuts and bolts of working together with students, faculty, staff and parents. Guest speakers from the local labor association, the Teachers’ Association of South Pasadena, also attended to meet the newcomers and help prepare for the academic year.
Welcome new South Pasadena Unified teachers, we are looking forward to seeing students on the first day of school, August 12, 2021!
