At its recent meeting on November 9, 2021, the SPUSD Board of Education expressed its appreciation for the District Teachers of the Year. Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Dr. Linda Junge, kicked off the celebration with a quote from Colorado State University professor and scientist Dr. Temple Grandin who simply stated, “I cannot emphasize enough the importance of a good teacher.”
