Congratulations to SPMS violinists Inah Chang and Abigail Keum on qualifying for the 2025 California All-State Junior High Concert Orchestra and clarinetist Ryan Sung on qualifying for the 2025 California All-State Junior High Concert Band. 

Students from throughout the state audition for a limited number of spots at the All-State level. With their qualification, these middle schoolers will be attending the California All-State Music Education Conference in Sacramento in January. To qualify, students submitted a recorded audition that consisted of complex scales and orchestral excerpts. 

The All-State ensembles bring together the finest student musicians from the state of California to perform under the direction of nationally and internationally known band directors.
