On behalf of the South Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education, thank you to the community of South Pasadena for passing the school facilities improvement measure, Measure SP, which provides $128 million in locally controlled funding to repair and upgrade classrooms and labs for quality instruction for our students.

The overwhelmingly positive vote–more than 73% voted yes–represents your confidence in the future of our schools. South Pasadena residents have proven that they will provide backing at the local level, and we are so grateful for the support.

We would also like to offer a special thanks to the campaign committee driving the outreach effort. The leader of the Yes on SP committee, Emilia Aldana, assembled an impressive team that dedicated hours of their time to ensure that the community was aware and engaged. 

Additionally, we owe a huge thanks to those who, through their financial contributions to the campaign, made it possible to educate the community on the special importance of funding our schools. The Yes on SP vote ensures we protect the high-quality education our students deserve. Thank you!
